Speaking over the weekend in Dar es Salaam, Exim’s Cluster Head,
Agnes Kaganda said the Bank’s pavilion at the ongoing 39th Dar es Salaam
International Trade Fair is part of the campaign to encourage the
opening of fixed deposit accounts.
“We have a team comprised of sales executives and bank officials
stationed at the bank’s pavilion to publicise and sell Exim’s products
and services,” she said.
“Customers who visit the bank’s pavilion are informed about the
bank’s fixed deposit account campaign aimed at enhancing the culture of
saving in the country,” she added.
“With the competitive rates that we are offering during the
campaign, customers are be able to get good returns on their deposits,”
Kaganda reassured clients.
As part of the campaign, she said, there are monthly give-aways to
esteemed Fixed Deposit account holders throughout the campaign period.
“The monthly prizes include iPhones and a car, which is the grand prize,” she said.
The bank, apart from providing professional advice to its customers
at the Sabasaba grounds, it has pioneered use of a mobile ATM van
allowing customers to draw more money at the ground as need be. “This
saves them the hustle of carrying around huge amounts of cash,” she
detailed.
“A good number of customers open accounts and enjoy our products,”
she said “...our clients are happy with our products and service
delivery because at Exim we focus on reliability, efficiency and
convenience,’’ she said.
Kaganda also took the time to highlight the enhanced security
features of the bank’s new Faida debit card which now spots an
electronic chip instead of the previous magnetic strip.
“This provides the card holder with enhanced security and a peace
of mind that their card transactions are completely safe and secure,”
the Exim Cluster Head said.
“Exim is committed to ensure its customers are provided with the
best services and products,” she summed up and encouraged the public to
visit the bank’s pavilion at the Sabasaba grounds at the on going Trade
Fair Exhibitions in Dar es Salaam.
