Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 hard reset

Warning :  by performing the hard reset will erase all fo personal data in internal storage, e.g. contact, message, reminder etc. Please do full backup first.
To perform the hard reset on Samsung Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300, there's two methodes :
- First, input secret code methode : Go to dial pad and type *2767*3855#
- Use recovery mode methode :

• Turn off the phone
• Press & hold volume up + home button simultaneously, then power on the phone
• Release volume up + home button if recovery menu appear
• Scroll down to factory data reset menu, use volume down to navigate and home button to confirm.
• Phone will automatically restart and now the phone is on factory state.

If your device freezes or hangs, you may need to close programs or reset the device to regain functionality. If your
device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold [POWER] for 8-10 seconds, the device will reboot automatically or pull out the battery and then reinsert it. Replace the back cover and power on the device.



If this does not solve the problem, perform a factory data reset. In Idle mode, open the application list and select
Settings → Privacy → Factory data reset → Reset phone → Erase everything.

or Factory Format by entering S5300 RESET CODE

Use this method to hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 phone: Enter *2767*3855#. Warning! All your data including contacts, messages etc. will be lost! Copy all your necessary data/Contacts/Messages etc. to SIM or make backup to your PC before full reset! Take out SIM card before full reset.
When disposing of your device, back up all data and then reset your device to prevent misuse of your personal information.
