• Master of Arts in Educational Management and Leadership
• Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction
• Master of Business Administration in Finance & Accounting
• Master of Business Administration in Marketing & Entrepreneurship
• Master of    Business    Administration    in    Strategic    Human Resource Management
• Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Full time and In Service Program) (1 year)

Degree Programs (3 Years)

• Bachelor of Arts in Theology ( Full time 3 year & In service 4 years )
• Bachelor of Arts in Religion
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with Education (3.5 years)
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Office Administration and Human Resource Management
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Management

Basic Technician Certificate Programs (NTA LEVEL 4 (1  Year)

• Basic Technician Certificate in Accountancy
• Basic Technician Certificate in Procurement and Supply

General Entrance Qualifications:-

Postgraduate Programs General Admission Criteria:-

• To be admitted into the Master of Arts or Master of Business Administration programs an applicant must fulfill the following:

2. Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree or have its equivalent from a recognized institution and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 7
3. A candidate whose minimum cumulative GPA is less than 2.7 but has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 in the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) may be  accepted
4. For Postgraduate Diploma in Education,  one should be a holder of a first degree or advanced diploma from any recognized

Undergraduate Programs Admission Criteria

1. Applicant with form six (direct entry)
   • Completed A-Level studies before 2014 – Two principal  passes with a total of 4.0 points from Two Subjects defining the admission into the respective program (where A = 5; B = 4; C= 3;   D = 2; E = 1).
   • Completed A-Level studies in 2014 and 2015 – Two principal passes (Two Cs) with a total of 4.0 points from Two Subjects defining the admission into the respective program (where A = 5; B+ = 4; B = 3; C= 2; D = 1).

 

• Completed A –Level studies from 2016 – Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from Two Subjects defining the admission into the respective program (where A = 5; B = 4; C= 3; D = 2; E = 1).

Note: –The Principal or Pass grade at (VI) does not include Religious studies, except for Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Arts in Religion.

2. For Equivalent entry

At least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) or NVA Level III with less than  four O’-Level passes or equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA; AND

3. At least a GPA of 3.0 for Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6); OR
4. Average of C for Full Technician  Certificate  (FTC)  (where  A=5,  B=4,

C=3, and D=2 points); OR

• Average of ‘B’ Grade for Diploma in Teacher Education; OR

1. A Distinction for unclassified diplomas and certificates. OR
2. Upper Second Class for classified non-NT4

Holder of Foundation program from The Open University of Tanzania (OUT) with the GPA of 0 from 6 core subjects and at least a C grade from the three subjects in respective cluster (arts, science, or Business studies)

For Diploma entry

• At least one principal pass and one subsidiary at A- Level (ACSEE)
• At least Four passes (D’s) at ordinary level and have obtained basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4 with the GPA of 0

For Certificate programs – At least four passes (D’s) at Ordinary level For ministerial programs – A seventh day Adventist member with ability to read and to  write

Application for Bachelor’s Degree: – Apply direct online to the University of Arusha, by visiting our website www.uoa.ac.tz from June 24, 2019 – August 10, 2019. In case you face any challenges contact the office of admission for further assistance.

NOTE:- Applicants with equivalent qualifications who wish to join bachelor’s degree make sure you verify your certificates through www.nacte.go.tz then click Award verification number (AVN) you will  be able to get your AVN number through online award verification system (NAVS)

NOTE:-  Admission is denied without AVN number

Application for Postgraduate programs: – Are received any time but you’re advised to submit your application form at least three months before commencement of the intake of your preference.

NOTE: – We offer two intakes for Master’s degree (January & August), and one intake for in service program which begins at the end of November.

Application for Ministerial programs: – Are received any time but you’re advised to submit your application form at least three months before commencement of the intake which is January 2020.
