SECOND SELECTION FOR ORDINARY DIPLOMA  IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS  (APRIL INTAKE)  – 1ST BATCH Admission process into Ordinary Diploma in Education programs  for new and upgrading students was  temporarily closed  on 28th February, 2015. Selection of candidates into respective  institutions has been done according  to the eligibility of the applicants. The available vacancy for the programme was 4,000 and a  total of 1,304 (32.6%) applicants have  chosen education  programs To view the list of selected applicants click HERE  and to view  list of Joining Instructions Click HERE The minimum entry qualifications were:- (i) Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with  four (4) passes in related subjects  and with Division  I, II or III. (ii) Holders of Grade III A as evaluated by NECTA OR (iii) For applicants with lower than division III: Holder of Basic  Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) f rom recognised Institution with four (4) passes (D). For Science and Mathematics programmes: CSEE (O' Level)  at least two (2) of the four (4)  science and mathematics subjects. The selection of applicants into Diploma in Education programs  followed certain criteria as listed below. For Ordinary Diploma in Primary Education (In-Service) selection  was prioritized according to Grade A graduation year Division Points Arts Subjects (History, Geography, Civics, English, Kiswahili) O Level Graduation Year Application Date Gender For Ordinary Diploma in Primary Education (Science) selection was prioritized according to Division Points Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) O Level Graduation Year Application Date Gender For Ordinary Diploma in Early Childhood Education selection  was prioritized according to Division Points Arts Subjects O Level Graduation Year Application Date Gender Based on the selection criteria 937 applicants were selected into  various Education programs. The list of selected applicants contains these 937 students and  the initial 623 students selected in December  2014.
