38 people have died and 82 others were injured afterwhom the house due to heavy hail and wind rain coupled eve of today in the village of Nakata County of Isaac Kahama District in Shinyanga Region.
As the scene, police commander Shinyanga region Justus Kamugisha has
confirmed the incident, saying the deads body, many are children who were
washed up after water stocked in their homes and that injuries are at hospital in Kahama District.Kamugisha commander says 35 people have died on the scene and three others died when arrived in Kahama district hospital and that number could rise due to other injuries were in bad condition.One of the big weights of ice were falling in the village.He said the names of the deads body havent yet recognized and that a committee of defense and security rests Shinyanga region this evening to assess the disaster as well as find out what support is needed for these victims.
For his part the chairman of the defense committee of the Kahama district, who is the head of the district Mpesya Benson said the committee of defense and security of the district shall remain before the committee to get information which ll' help provincial government started providing assistance.
As the scene Mpesya decreed by the military leadership of Scauti Redcross helped ensure all family which found with disaster when the government pending the completion of the exercise of the sense of these victims had commanded to be made by the leaders of the area.
