 Diwani mteule wa kata ya Kinuni iliyopo Zanzibar, Suleiman Mohamed Hassan (CCM) amefariki dunia.

Katibu wa Idara ya Itikadi na Uenezi wa CCM kwa upande wa Zanzibar, Catherine Peter Nao amesema diwani huyo alifariki ghafla baada ya kuanguka nyumbani kwake na kupelekwa katika Hospitali ya Altabib.

Hassan alifariki dunia muda mfupi baadaye akiwa katika hospitali hiyo.

“Sisi kama CCM tumepokea kwa masikitiko taarifa ya msiba wa diwani Hassan na tunaiomba familia yake kuwa na moyo wa subira,” amesema Nao.

MWENYEKITI  wa Bodi ya Wakurugenzi wa TANESCO Dkt Alexander Kyaruzi amesema kwamba ameridhishwa na mitambo inayotumika kuzalishia umeme ilivyopo kwenye kituo cha New Pangani Falls kilichopo Hale wilayani Korogwe Mkoani Tanga.

Hayo aliyasema leo wakati wa ziara ya siku moja ya kutembelea mitambo hiyo ambapo alisema kwamba hali ya mitambo hiyo ni nzuri na inauwezo wa kuzalisha umeme unaostahili

Alisema kwamba katika ziara hiyo lengo lao ni kutaka kuona namna kituo hicho kinavyofanya kazi kutokana na kwamba tokeo bodi hiyo ilipochaguliwa haijawahi kufika kwenye mitambo hiyo

“Kwa kweli leo nimefika hapa kufanya ziara lakini kikubwa nataka kusema nimeridhishwa sana na mitambo inayotumika kuzalishia umeme hapa kwani kuna mitambo mitatu ya Hale, Nyumba ya Mungu na Pangani Falls kama bodi ambao tunasimamia haya mambo ni vizuri tumeona tuje kujielimishe na ndio maana tumefika”Alisema Dkt Kyaruzi.

Alisema kwamba baada ya kufika wamepata uelewa kwamba wana mashine mbili ambazo kila moja inazalisha megawatts 34 hivyo kufanya jumla yake kuwa megawatts 68 na mashine zote mbili zinafanya kazi kwa kiwango kizuri.

Akielezea changamoto ambazo alihaidi kwenda kuzipatia ufumbuzi ambazo alielezwa wakati wa ziara hiyo,Mwenyekiti huyo wa Bodi ya Wakurugenzi alisema ni pamoja na ile ya kwamba mitambo yao ipo kwenye bonde la Mto Pangani ambao una mamlaka yake ambalo ameliona linaweza kuwa ni tatizo kidogo.

Alisema hilo linatokana na kwamba mamlaka yenyewe inatilia kipaumbele uzalishaji wa umwagiliaji ndio wa kwanza halafu uzalishaji umeme ni kipaumbele namba mbili sasa hilo linawafanya wao kama TANESCO wasiweze kupanga kwa kuangalia maji yaliyopo bwawani.

Alieleza kwamba kwani hayo maji wanaweza kuyatumia kwa mwaka mzima sasa kama wengine wanapewa kipaumbele wao wanaweza kuwa wamepanga kumbe kipaumbele kimebadilika kwa wale wengine na hivyo kupelekea kushindwa kufika mwaka mzima.

 “Hili tumeona hivyo tumepanga ni vizuri tukawa na mawasiliano na wenzetu wa bonde la Mto Pangani angalau tuweze kuwa na vipaumbele sawa kurahisisha kwenye mambo ya kupanga”Alisema

Mwenyekiti huyo wa Bodi ya Wakurugenzi alisema nyengine walioona kama changamto ni udongo wamewaeleza kwenye mabwawa udongo na mchanga upo mwingi hiyo kusababisha maji yanayokaa pale ndani yanapungua kina chini .

Alieleza kwamba hilo linasababishwa na uwepo wa udongo na mchanga na kupelekea maji yanapungua hiyo ni changamoto ambayo wanaichukua na kuona namna ya kuifanyia marekebisho jinsi ya kuuondoa huo mchanga na tope ili bwawa liweze kuwa na kina cha zamana kama kilivyosanifiwa.
