Yusuph Manji jana alitii sheria bila shuruti kwa kuhama kwenye jengo la
Quality Plaza akitekeleza amri ya Mahakama ya kumtaka kurejesha jengo
hilo ambalo ni mali ya Mfuko wa Pensheni kwa Watumishi wa Umma (PSPF).
Mbali
na kutekeleza amri ya kuhama baada ya kupewa notisi ya saa 24
iliyomalizika juzi, pia anatakiwa kulipa malimbikizo ya deni la pango la
Dola za Marekani 6.1 milioni (zaidi ya Sh13 bilioni), ambazo kama
asipozilipa mali zake zitakamatwa.
Hatua
hiyo imekuja baada ya Mahakama Kitengo cha Ardhi kutoa hukumu ya
kumtaka Manji kuondoka kwenye jengo hilo pamoja na kuilipa deni la
pango.
Alipotakiwa kuzungumzia suala hilo, Manji ambaye ni Mwenyekiti wa Klabu ya Yanga hakupatikana kupitia simu yake ya mkononi.
Viongozi
wa kampuni za Manji waliokuwa wakisimamia uondoaji wa vifaa
uliomalizika jana asubuhi, walikataa kuzungumza na waandishi wa habari
waliofika kufuatilia tukio hilo.
Tangu
juzi chini ya usimamizi wa kampuni ya udalali ya Yono Auction Mart,
Manji na kampuni zake walikuwa wanaondoa vifaa mbalimbali vilivyopo
kwenye jengo hilo na kuhitimisha shughuli hiyo jana.
Meneja
Uendeshaji wa Yono Auction Mart, Atukuzwe Mhugo alisema kampuni ambazo
walikuwa wakizisimamia kuondoa vifaa ni Quality Group Co Ltd, Gaming
Managemeti Ltd, Q Consult Ltd na Quality Logistics Co Ltd.
Hata
hivyo, Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa kampuni hiyo ya Yono, Scholastica Kenyela
alisema tayari wameshaziondoa kampuni za Manji kwenye jengo hilo.
Kenyela
alisema mteja wao ambaye ni PSPF alichukua uamuzi huo baada ya Manji
kushindwa kulipa kodi ya pango ya zaidi ya Sh13 bilioni.
“Sisi
tumetimiza wajibu wetu, ukienda pale utaona tayari tumeshafanya kazi
yetu kwa sababu alipewa notisi ya saa 24 awe ameondoka,” alisema.
Ofisa
Uhusiano Mwandamizi wa PSPF, Abdul Njaidi alisema masuala yote
yanayohusiana na jengo hilo kwa sasa yako chini ya Yono Auction Mart. “Sipo Dar es Salaam na sitazung- umzia chochote kuhusu jengo hilo wenye mamlaka ni Yono naomba uwatafute wao,” alisema.
Waziri
Mkuu Kassim Majaliwa jana alifanya ziara ya kushtukiza katika hospitali
ya Mkoa ya Mount Meru ambako kulikuwa na tuhuma za kuibwa watoto,
lakini alishuhudia wazazi watatu wakilala kitanda kimoja.
Ziara
hiyo ilitokana na taarifa alizolalamikiwa na wananchi juzi kwenye
mkutano wa hadhara uliofanyika Uwanja wa Sheikh Amri Abeid, kwamba
hospitali hiyo ina matukio ya wizi wa watoto wachanga.
Hata
hivyo, jana baada ya kufika katika hospitali hiyo, Majaliwa alishuhudia
msongamano katika wodi ya wazazi na kuagiza kuboreshwa hospitali za
pembezoni.
Majaliwa
aliagiza uongozi wa hospitali hiyo kuhakikisha wanaondoa changamoto za
ongezeko la wagonjwa na kuboresha huduma katika hospitali hiyo.
Akizungumzia
sakata ya kupotea kwa watoto katika hospitali ya mkoa alivitaka vyombo
husika kuendelea na uchunguzi kwa kuwa suala hilo tayari lipo mikononi
mwa vyombo vya dola.
Wiki mbili zilizopita mzazi, Walda Mussa alisema kuwa alijifungua mtoto katika hospitali hiyo lakini hadi alipotoka hakumpata.
“Nilikuja
hapa hospitali Oktoba 4 na Oktoba 7 nikajifungua kwa upasuaji
wakamchukua mtoto na kumpeleka chumba cha joto, akaja mume wangu akaenda
kumuona mtoto mzima, siku ya pili alienda kumuona mtoto pia akiwa mzima
lakini siku ya tatu, tulipokwenda wote mimi na mume wangu tuliambiwa
mtoto alifariki na hatujawahi kuona mwili wake,” alisema mwanamke huyo hivi karibuni.

alipotakiwa kuelezea sakata hilo, alisema kuwa mtoto huyo baada ya
kuzaliwa alifariki dunia na baadaye mwili ulipelekwa chumba cha
kuhifadhi maiti katika hospitali hiyo.

The law School
of Tanzania (lST) is a public institution, established in 2007 by the

things, practical legal training for law graduates from accredited

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the Chief
Executive and Accounting Officer of the School and shall be responsible
to the Governing Board for overall coordination of the School; .
Exercise such
functions of the School as the Governing Board may delegate to enable
him to transact all the day-to-day business of the School;
Subject to any
directions or restrictions given or imposed by the Governing Board, have
the power to exercise supervision and control over acts and proceedings
in relation to all staff of the
School and to
decide upon questions relating to the terms and conditions of service of
the staff of the School, having due regard to the Schemes of Service;
Propose to the
Governing Board policies, programmes and operations relating to
practical legal' training, development, upkeep, maintenance and
development of the School's assets and facilities;
Supervise the management of the School's finances including budgeting, and control of
expenditure;
Promote staff
and student's welfare, good relations between the School and the
Government, the public, other institutions and bodies within and outside
the country; and
Undertake and promote other activities of interest to the School as the Governing Board may direct.

for a dynamic professional to take on the role of the Education
Coordinator, responsible for the successful planning, delivery, and
coordination of all education interventions delivered under the USAID
funded Caring for Children and Empowering Young People (C2EYP) programme
in Dar es Salaam as well as providing wider technical support to
education focal people across the country. Working within a consortium
team and with wider management team, the

Coordinator's role will include project management, delivering capacity
development workshops on school - planning, providing technical support
to government and CSO delivery partners on school planning and
supporting transition of girls from primary to secondary schools, 'and
leading on financial compliance and report writing. The Education
Coordinator is responsible for effective and efficient delivery, project
quality, and donor compliance on education component of C2EYP.

technical expertise using the most up-to-date evidence base in primary
and secondary education, school planning, and community engagement
Responsible for
financial oversight, management of the education budget under C2EYP and

Work within and coordinate across a number of partners working within a consortium
Use data to
inform project implementation and make necessary adaptations and work
with AKF technical team and consultants to conduct targeted studies to
develop a more in -depth understanding of programme quality
Develop and deliver capacity development workshops to Zonal teams.
Reporting arid
maintaining working relationships with donor, government, partner
agencies and NGOs (as applicable) under guidance from AKF.
Representing the project to relevant local authorities and organisations.
The ideal candidate will have:
1.Minimum Master's degree in education, international development or the equivalent;
2.At least eight years of solid experience working in education programming and international development;
3.Experience of working with teams in remote locations and experience of working in a consortium of partners;
4.Proven experience in managing USAID projects;
5.Demonstrated capacity to write high quality reports;
6.Exceptional written and verbal skills in English. Knowledge of Kiswahili will be an advantage;
7.Positive communication and organisation skills;
