Forest Service Agency (TFS) in Kisarawe District, Coast Region has
revealed strategic plans to rehabilitate Pugu Forest Natural Reserve
into a world tourist destination.
"We have already built an 8 kilometer pedestrian stretch across the
forest,” said Kisarawe District Forest Manager Mathew Mwanuo implying
the initial stages in building infrastructures at one of the world’s
oldest forest reserves.

District Resident Magistrate Court in Tabora Region has sentenced one
Masdanja Mwinamila (44) a resident of Ugembe village to 10 years
imprisonment after finding him guilty of an attempt to sell her sister’s
child with albinism.
Magistrate Salad Nana said the accused had pleaded guilty to the offence in what was an apparent rare occasions in such cases.
