Waziri Mkuu Majaliwa Awataka Wananchi Kushiriki Zoezi La Sensa 2022

*Asema zoezi hilo ni muhimu kwa maendeleo ya Taifa
Waziri Mkuu Kassim Majaliwa ametoa wito kwa watanzania kutoa ushirikiano wa kutosha ili kufanikisha utekelezaji wa zoezi la Sensa ya Watu na Makazi litakalofanyika Agosti 28, 2022.
 
Amesema takwimu zitakazopatikana katika zoezi hilo zitatumiwa na Serikali katika utungaji, ufuatiliaji na uboreshaji wa sera mbalimbali pamoja na kufanya maamuzi kwa kuzingatia vigezo vya kitakwimu.

Ametoa wito huo  Mei 22, 2021 wakati wa uzinduzi wa kitabu cha mkakati wa usimamizi na utekelezaji wa Sensa ya watu na makazi ya Mwaka 2022, katika Ofisi ya Taifa ya Takwimu Jijini Dodoma.

“Ni dhahiri kuwa, takwimu rasmi zitaiwezesha Serikali ya Awamu ya Sita na wadau wengine kufuatilia na kutathmini Malengo yaliyofikiwa katika kutekeleza Mipango ya Maendeleo iliyokusudiwa kwa lengo la kukuza uchumi na kupunguza umaskini na hatimae kufikia Dira yenyewe”.

Aidha, Waziri Mkuu amesema takwimu rasmi zitaiwezesha Serikali kukabiliana na changamoto mbalimbali zitakazojitokeza katika sekta zote za kiuchumi kwa kuwa zitatoa viashiria vya Uwajibikaji ndani ya Serikali.

Kadhalika Waziri Mkuu amezielekeza taasisi zote za Serikali kutoa ushirikiano unaohitajika kwa lengo la kufanikisha zoezi hilo kwa haraka na kadri itakavyowezekana.  

“Serikali inaendelea kukamilisha maandalizi ya kutekeleza zoezi hili kwa ufanisi kwa  kushughulikia upatikanaji wa vifaa ikiwemo magari  ambapo katika bajeti ya  2020/2021 zimetengwa fedha za ununuzi wa magari kumi (10)”.

Naye Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar Hemed Suleiman Abdulla amesema kuwa hana shaka  na utendaji kazi wa ofisi za takwimu za Zanzibar na Tanzania Bara kwani ushirikiano wao ulifanya sensa ya mwaka 2012 kuwa bora barani Afrika na Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar itatoa ushirikiano wa kutosha kuhakikisha zoezi hili linafanyika kwa mafanikio.

Akizungumza kwa niaba ya Waziri wa Fedha na Mipango, Naibu Waziri wa Wizara hiyo Mhandisi Hamadi Masauni amesema kuwa watahakikisha sensa ya watu na makazi kwa mwaka 2022 inafanyika kwa ufanisi mkubwa kwa kutambua umuhimu wa sensa kwa maendeleo ya nchi yetu.

Kwa upande wake Waziri wa Nchi, Ofisi ya Rais Fedha na Mipango ya Zanzibar Jamal Kassim Ali amesema takwimu za sensa ndio msingi wa takwimu zinazotusaidia kupanga mipango  ya maendeleo hivyo watahakikisha zoezi hili linafanyika kwa mafanikio makubwa.

Naye Mtakwimu Mkuu wa Serikali Dkt. Albina Chuwa amesema Kuwa Sensa ya Mwaka 2022 inakwenda kutoa taarifa za kitakwimu kwenye ngazi ya kitongoji tofauti na sensa za miaka ya nyuma ambazo zilikuwa zinaishia katika ngazi ya vijiji.

Mtakwimu Mkuu wa Zanzibar Mayasa Mwinyi amesema kuwa Sensa ya mwaka 2022 itakuwa ya kipekee na bora kutokana na matumizi ya teknolojia yatakayowezesha kupunguza kazi, matokeo kutolewa ndani ya muda mfupi na gharama za uendeshaji pia zitapungua

Mwakilishi Mkazi wa Shirika la Umoja wa Mataifa la Idadi ya Watu (UNFPA) Jacqueline Mahon Amesema kuwa  shirika hilo itaendelea kuipa ushirikiano Serikali ya awamu ya sita katika kutekeleza sensa ya watu na makazi ya mwaka 2022 ambayo ni muhimu kwa taifa lolote kwani inasaidia kujua idadi na watu na hatimaye kuwezesha ugawaji wa rasilimali kwa wananchi
